Xena Networks Helps Demonstrate 600G at OFC

High-speed Ethernet demonstration provides clear example of Xena’s advanced 100G traffic generation and analysis test solutions. 

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK, April 15, 2016 — Xena Networks provided one of the world’s biggest NEMs with a high-speed Ethernet traffic generation solution capable of supporting a live demonstration of 600 Gigabits per second at OFC.

By equipping a single XenaBay chassis equipped with six M1QSFP28CXP test modules – each capable of generating 100Gbps – test engineers were able to use XenaManager-2G software to quickly and easily configure streams of Ethernet traffic.

The live 600G demo took place at the OFC March 20th-24th in Anaheim, California.

Tri-speed dual media test modules

The M1QSFP28CXP is a tri-speed, dual media test module available for both the XenaBay and XenaCompact chassis. It is tri-speed because it can be configured using XenaManager-2G to provide one 100G test port, two 40G test ports or eight 10G test ports. And it is dual media because it supports both QSFP28 and CXP interfaces.
